Bitcoin ETF inflows cross $1 billion after two weeks of withdrawals

Wednesday’s purchases followed $526.7 million in net inflows on October 19 and approximately $23.2 million the following session, according to Farside Investors’ records.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust led the latest session with $235 million, followed by Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund at $212.7 million. Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust attracted $32.6 million, while Bitwise’s BITB received $19.2 million.

The buying followed two difficult weeks for U.S. Bitcoin funds. Products recorded $228.4 million in withdrawals during October 12–16, after losing approximately $678.9 million the previous week.

Ether, Solana and XRP funds return to positive flows

Investor demand was not limited to Bitcoin products on Wednesday. U.S. spot Ether ETFs attracted approximately $15 million, ending five consecutive trading sessions of withdrawals.

Solana-linked funds recorded roughly $585,000 in net purchases after a 13-session outflow streak, while XRP ETFs received around $709,000.

The figures were modest compared with Bitcoin’s intake, although the return to positive flows interrupted recent selling across several cryptocurrency investment products.

Bitcoin price retreats after brief rally toward $85,000

Bitcoin climbed to an intraday high near $84,777 on October 21 before surrendering those gains. By October 22, BTC traded around $81,963, declining approximately 1.20% over 24 hours.

According to crypto.news market data, daily trading volume stood near $37.2 billion, while the cryptocurrency retained a 1.64% gain over seven days.

The price retreat followed renewed resistance between $85,000 and $87,000. Immediate support remained around $80,000, with $78,000 emerging as the next level if selling continued.

Technical readings presented a mixed picture. The Klinger Oscillator stood at 158, above its signal line at -206, suggesting improving volume-related buying activity.

Long-term whale holders and miner whales had considerably lower realized prices of $46,400 and $51,820, respectively.
